Rubik's Cube Java Applet

Sorry, it seems that your browser doesn't know how to run Java applets. If it did you would see here a simulation of Rubik's Cube that can be twisted with the mouse. Here's a screenshot of what you're missing.

To run this applet you need an Java-enabled WWW-browser. I recommend Netscape, version 2.0 or higher. Note: The Windows 3.x versions of Netscape 2.x and 3.x don't support Java. The applet also works with the program appletviewer, which comes with the Java Development Kit (JDK), version 1.0.2 or better. You can download the JDK from Sun Microsystems.

Click a cubelet face, move the mouse in the direction you want the slice to move to, and release the mouse button. Press the Ctrl key at the same time to move the whole cube. More detailed instructions are also available.
